The Lawn is Gone

This garden in Oakland was planted in spring 2014.  The lawn was converted into a native garden enhanced with non-native succulents and drought tolerant perennials.

The lush and cheery feeling this small garden evokes encourages bees, butterflies and birds to stop in for pollen and nectar from flowering perennials. Coyote brush, Yellow current, Sticky monkey flower, Coral bells and Santolina are among the native perennials in bloom.

  3. That is absolutely a fascinating idea to convert the yard into a large garden. If I couldn't see the house, I would probably assume that your plants were wildflowers out in the foothills somewhere. What are the light green/yellow plants you have in the first photo?

  14. Riding lawn mowers should not be confused with gardening or lawn tractors. The big difference is that riding tractors have cutting decks mounted in the middle rather than the front. Because of this, riding tractors are much less maneuverable.

Mulch mowing is the point at which we put a connect to the back of an extraordinarily composed lawn cutter, which as opposed to gathering the grass clippings, sends those same clippings through the edges of the trimmer a few times to finely cleave them into little pieces, previously keeping those same clippings over into the lawn.cub cadet 33 inch walk behind mower review
