This young couple with a toddler and a greyhound has a clean, lively, modern style that is reflected in the landscape. We designed a large, angular concrete patio to provide plenty of space to cook and entertain, and the built-in bench planter is both functional as a roomy place to sit and a beautiful, modern focal point on the patio. The patio links to a decomposed granite path perfect for tricycle loops around the large, rectangular lawn. On the sunniest side of the garden, incorporated into the path, are two raised veggie beds and a third matching raised redwood sandbox for outdoor entertainment for all ages. |
