This commercial property housing many small businesses and offices has a playful art deco architectural style and needed colorful, low-water planting to complement its striking décor. Plantings have to be tough enough to survive plenty of foot traffic and normal parking lot wear-and-tear from pedestrians, dogs, and car doors. We strove for unique color combinations and incorporated many unusual Australian, New Zealand, and South African plants which provide bold color and texture and are well suited to our summer-dry climate. |
