In a Japanese garden, each and every plant is carefully chosen and maintained to create a perfectly balanced artistic composition. This long and narrow street-side garden is a serene vignette on a busy street. The small fountain helps buffer traffic noise and the tall bamboo gives an appropriate sense of depth and scale in a deep, narrow space. We took over the pruning and care of this mostly established garden, added some replacement planting to spruce it up, and maintain it monthly to keep it picture-perfect. |
